Imperialis Keep

A vast fortress like a mirror of the city surrounding it, made of marble, its walls lined with rows of windows that offering views of the gardens surrounding it on all sides. The enormous gate is flanked by smaller versions of the four Sentinels from the city's walls. Inside, the halls are lit by crystal chandeliers that cascade like frozen waterfalls, their arcane light refracting off the polished floors in dazzling arrays leading to the throne room. The massive open space with grand arches, magelight chandeliers hanging from the pinnacle of each. Some so deep within the alcoves that they are like orbiting celestial bodies whilst along the center cascading like fountains to brush the tips of the nobles grand headgear. The polished dark marble floor reflecting all in a dizzying otherworldly display. The royal quarters are also within the keep, and oasis of luxury. Walls lined with tapestries depicting the history of the realm, that few ever gets to see.
